Lorraine Helen (Ambrosio) Lykins passed away on August 12, 2024 after a long and fulfilling life. Lorraine was born in Denver, Colorado to Juanita H. and Fiore F. Ambrosio on August 12, 1935. She was raised in North Denver and graduated from North High School in 1954. She married Charles Wilson from 1956-1971 and had two children, Dennis Wilson and Denise (Wilson) Ramirez. Lorraine married Frank Lykins on July 12, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her career achievements included telephone operator for Mountain Bell, working for the Federal Government and later as a receptionist at her son, Dennis’ salon. She and Frank enjoyed traveling and spending time with her four grandchildren.

 

Some of Lorraine’s hobbies included going to movies and making crafts with her grandchildren as well as watching them play sports. She loved going to Central City, shopping, and watching old movies. Lorraine was exceptionally talented at crocheting and her loved ones were continually blessed to receive a piece of her lovely handiwork. She loved the Denver Broncos but was a Tom Brady fan.

 

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Fiore F and Juanita H Ambrosio, her brother Fiore M Ambrosio, and her husband, Frank Lykins.

She is survived by her children: Dennis Wilson and Denise (Wilson) Ramirez, her grandchildren: Cassaundra Wilson, Trevor Wilson, josh Ramirez, and Matthew Ramirez

 

Service for Lorraine will be;

Romero Funeral Home 12:30-1:30pm
