Jack Benny Smith, Sr., 88, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
A native of Kernersville, NC, Jack was the husband of 66 years to Nancy Clay Smith and the son of Milton Smith and Shirley Honeycutt Smith, both deceased.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Tracy S. Crockett and husband, James, and Cindy S. Adkins and husband, Duck; two sons, Brian K. Smith, and Jack B. Smith, Jr. and wife, M. J.; five grandchildren, Lindsey Smith, Austin Crockett, Tyler Smith, Karah Smith Santos and husband, Brian, and Justin Smith; and four great grandchildren, Guage, Zane, Ayce, and Emerson.
A memorial service celebrating Jack’s life will be held at 11:00AM Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Travis Shannon and Rev. Leon Thompson officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the chapel.
