Florence R. (Palys) Kaplan passed away at the age of 85 surrounded by her family at HCA Ocala Florida.
She was born on December 15, 1938 in Ware, Massachusetts to the late Walter and Veronica Palys. A West Springfield resident for most of her life, she moved to Belleview, Florida in 2008. She worked 46 years at Pratt and Austin in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Florence is survived by her children son, Mark (Kimberly) Kaplan, West Springfield, Massachusetts, daughter Lynn (Michael) McElwain, Belleview, Florida, son Matthew Kaplan, Belleview Florida, granddaughter Katherine Kaplan, West Springfield, Massachusetts, grandson Nicholas (Eileen) Kaplan, West Springfield, Massachusetts and great-granddaughter Alexandria Kaplan, West Springfield, Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shepherds Light House 5930 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, Florida 34420.
