Wilma Jean Landress

Wilma Jean Landress, age 91 of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on August 14, 2024 while she was a resident of Aspire on Santa Barbara of Cape Coral with her family around her. 

Wilma was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 31, 1933, to the late Marvin and the late Ellie Stokes Jenkins. She married William Henry Landress, and they were married for 71 years when he passed away on May 23, 2021. She and William owned and operated a pest control company for over 35 years. Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her entire family and friends who loved her. 

Wilma leaves fond memories with her son; William E. “Slim” Landress and his wife Jeannie of North Fort Myers, her daughters; Mona Sturrup and her husband Randy of Arcadia, Debra Wood and her husband Ronnie of North Fort Myers, and Teresa Mann and her husband Timothy of Buckingham. Wilma also leaves memories with her seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and many extended family members and friends. 

Wilma’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. at New Hope Church located at 431 Nicholas Parkway East Cape Coral, Florida on Friday, September 27, 2024. 

Wilma’s cremation was entrusted to Akin-Davis Funeral Home Fort Myers Chapel.
