Doug Goodrich

Doug Goodrich, 87, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The husband of the late Amanda Goodrich, Doug was born July 26, 1937, to the late Bruce Norman and Dorothy Deering Goodrich in Woodford County, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Doug is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Purvis of Versailles, Sharon Goodrich of Millville, Marie Runyon of Lawrenceburg, and Margie Nash of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Travis, Kelly, and Chad Wainscott, Haley, Ramsey, Dawson, and Amanda Purvis, Chris Goodrich, Kacky Saylor, and Courtney Sutherland, Devin Shryock, and Michael Goodrich; and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife Amanda, and his parents, Bruce and Dorothy, Doug was preceded in death by his son, Doug Goodrich, and great granddaughter, Ivy Kate Wainscott.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00p, Friday, August 23, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort. Serving as Pallbearers will be, Travis Wainscott, Kelly Wainscott, Chad Wainscott, Ramsey Purvis, Dawson Purvis, and Chris Goodrich. Tony Paynter, Danny Ashley, Jimmy Dale Wainscott, Kenny Nash, and David Runyon will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5:00p until 7:00p, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the funeral home.
