Jean Marie Jones

Jean Marie Jones, 82, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and grandmother, went home to her Lord on Friday, August 9, 2024. 

Jean was born in Bessemer, Michigan on June 5, 1942, to Armas and Erma Lampi. Her upbringing was rooted in strong Finnish traditions. Jean was an accomplished artist, seamstress, refurbisher, and decorator. 

Jean was proceeded in death by Armas and Erma Lampi (parents), and Randy Lowry (nephew). 

Jean is survived by Terry Bond (sister), Heidi McClure, James Benavidez, and Jody Benavidez (children), Rebecca Miller, Michelle Musick, Danny Musick, Robbie McClure, Isaiah Benavidez, Ryan Benavidez, Michael Benavidez (grandchildren),  Christian Musick-Occhuito, Sasha Miller, Kalei Musick, Joshua Musick-Occhuito, Tyler Musick, Anthony Padilla, Gabriel Musick, Jaeden Trujillo, Michael Trujillo,  Caspian Tucci, Winnie Musick, Jace McClure, Anastasia McClure, Stetson Benavidez, and Cecil Benavidez (great-grandchildren), and Gabriel Moon Musick (great-great-grandchild), and Terry Lowrey (niece), and Ricky Lowrey and Todd Lowrey (nephews). 

Services will be held on September 5, 2024, at 2:00pm, at All Veterans Funeral and Cremation, 1020 E. Fillmore St., Colorado Springs, CO, 80907. 

A remembrance gathering will be held following the funeral services, hosted by Terry and Richard Bond, at 2970 Welton Dr., Colorado Springs, CO, 80906.
