Mary Purvis Moore
August 8th, 1937 - August 18th, 2024
Mary Purvis Moore, 87, of Greenboro passed away on August 18, 2024 at Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem. She was the daughter of the late Walter Green Purvis and Swannie (Myrick) Turner. Mary retired after working over 30 years at Wrangler then worked part-time at Belk and LabCorp.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Delores Whiteside (Eddy); grandchildren, Clara W. Rigsby (Caleb) and Dalton Whiteside; great-grandchildren, Chloe Grace and Carter Jane Rigsby; niece, Suzanne Turanich; and nephew, Wes Crawford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Myrl Crawford, and her grandson, Cory Dylan Whiteside.
The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel on August 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 12:45 PM. Graveside services will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Kelley Groce officiating.
