Richard Padilla
March 17th, 1950 - August 16th, 2024
Richard Padilla 74, passed away on Friday August 16 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era and was a retired Albuquerque firefighter of 25 yrs. He was also a 1968 graduate of Del Norte high school.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Emma Padilla his brother Roland (Mando) Padilla and his uncle and mentor Tito Gomez. He is survived by His son Richard Padilla, daughter Bernadette Padilla Grandchildren Melanie and Joshua Padilla, Christopher Valdez (Camille Gallegos) and Miguel Perez. His sisters Theresa Medoro, Helen Padilla, Conchie Halas and Maxine DiBernardo and husband Joe and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many friends and his beloved dogs.
Services will be held Friday September 6th at 10:00am sharp at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Celebration of life to be held at the Moose Lodge 12825 Skyline Rd NE at 2:00pm
