Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Kathleen Flanagan passed away suddenly on July 15, 2024. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and moved to Miami, Florida, when she was 12. She later moved to Tampa where she lived for over 40 years.
Kathleen is survived by her 3 sons, Kevin Flanagan (Stacy), Eddie Gaudette (Leighann), and Chris Flanagan (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Jared, Quincy, Haley, Aidan, Corey, Travis, Jordan, and Tristan; great grandson, Imani; her sister, Maureen Flanagan; her brother, Jim Flanagan (Valerie); and her nieces, Shannon Mora (Pedro) and Brenda Boritzki (Eric) and six great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Barry née O’Rourke, her PopPop, Jim Barry, and her sister, Eileen Flanagan. She also leaves behind her neighbor and close friend, Kathleen Taylor.
Kathleen was known as Kathy to her friends and colleagues. She was a dedicated employee of CareCentrix, where she worked for over 10 years. She was known for her dry wit and sense of humor, generosity, sage advice, and unwavering support for her loved ones. In her free time, Kathleen enjoyed tending to her plants, reading on her Kindle, shopping on Amazon, and organizing family get togethers.
A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held on September 14, 2024 from 5-7pm at a private residence.
Kathleen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
