Thomas J. Mullins, Sr., age 68, of Johnstown, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at his residence.
He was born August 28, 1955, in Gloversville, the son of John and Mabel (McCarthy) Mullins. He was employed at the former Mid-Town Car Wash in Gloversville and later by the Fulton County Dept. of Solid Waste for 23 years until he retired in 2015. Tom was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan. He loved his dogs and sitting by his campfire with the beverage of his choice.
Tom is survived by four children, Thomas Mullins (Amanda), James Mullins (Ashley), Jerrica Mullins and Kailee Ward; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Jack Mullins; a special friend, Ann Phillips; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Haley Mullins, and a brother, Richard Mullins.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A, Brennan Memorial Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Rd; Gloversville, NY 12078.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, Gloversville.
