Carol Ann Anderson

Carol Ann (Kolbeck) Anderson died peacefully as the sun was rising at Rainbow Hospice on August 23, 2024.
Born on September 20th, 1944 she grew up in the Palmyra-Eagle area.
She was a Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and a Friend of many.
She is survived by her seven children: Roy (Dawn)Anderson, Angela Arndt (Don Davies), Robert Anderson, DeeAnna Palomino (Joe Henderson), Lori (Randy)Wintlend, Amy (Todd)Duffrin and Morgan Quinn (Shannon Moreno).
She is further survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Shawna Anderson, Shae (Sandi) Anderson, Erik (Sam) Arndt, Monika Arndt, Christy (Eric) McCarville, Michael (Maria) Thorman, CJ Palomino, Seth Wintlend (Courtney Larson), Madilynn Wintlend (Andrew Cashin), Mariah Lord, Charrae Moreno, Saphira Moreno, Kyle Hoefs, Kody Hoefs, Audri Anderson, Erwin Anderson, Camille Anderson, Andy Arndt, Owen Arndt, Ella Arndt, Skye McCarville, Sage McCarville, Willow McCarville, Mila Larson, and Denver Wintlend.
She is also survived by her brother Matt (Melissa) Kolbeck and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Evelyn Kolbeck, sisters Connie King and Jeanie Lass, brother-in-law Bill King Sr., son in-law Dan Arndt, daughter in-law Jill Anderson, beloved grandson Craig Thorman and her cherished dogs Princess and Halo.
Mom was an accomplished poet with many of her poems published in the newspaper. She enjoyed going to hear country and rock and roll bands, especially Elvis impersonators (mom was an avid Elvis fan), dancing, working in her flower garden and spending time with family and friends.
She was a proud member of Red Hat Sizzling Sweethearts attaining the title of Vice Queen. She also enjoyed volunteering at Twice is Nice and finding a good bargain.
Mom never left a conversation without saying “I Love You”, We Love You Mom!
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to time of service. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rainbow Hospice and Jefferson County Humane Society.
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr Bill Kontny and the staff of Fort Healthcare Intensive Care Unit. We’d also like to thank the staff at Rainbow Hospice for exceptional care to our Mom in her final days.
