It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Judy Kay Bernardo-Terry.
Judy Bernardo-Terry, 80, of Ninety Six, South Carolina, returned home to her Lord and Savior peacefully in her sleep August 25.2024, at her home in Ninety-Six, South Carolina, surrounded by family. She was born on May 20, 1944, in Glendale, California to Leon Pamatian Bernardo and Virginia Still Bernardo-Scott. Known affectionately as “Nina” and “Mama Judy,” she retired from Self Regional Hospital System as Secretary Nurse Tech. Nina was a dedicated member of the Eastern Star.
Nina leaves behind her daughter, Leitreanna (Terry) Brown (T. Matthew), and grandchildren, Mia Smith (Kevin), Elijah Brown (Charlotte). She is also leaving behind two Great-Grandchildren, Charlotte Elizabeth Smith and Isabella Marie Smith, whom she treasured deeply.
She is also survived by her Sister Marian Crowder (Frances), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnieces: Frank Crowder (Debbie), Patrice Ledford, Suzanne Hogan, Dustin Ledford, (Jamie) Jessica Hogan, and Alyce Hogan.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, August 30th, at 2:00 pm, at The Historic Train Depot in Ninety Six, S. C. followed by a small reception. The arrangements are as follows: Family receiving friends at 2 pm, Celebration of Life 3 pm, Reception after the services. Flowers can be sent to the home at 219 Saluda Street, Ninety Six, SC 29666.
