Cynthia Sue Kirk
April 4th, 1959 - August 20th, 2024
Cynthia Sue Kirk, known to all as Cindy, passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 65 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on April 4, 1959 in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Cindy graduated from Edgewood High School in Kingsville, Ohio and took classes in computer science at Kent State’s Ashtabula campus before moving to Tucson to attend the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona in 1984. She earned her bachelor’s degree and worked as a relief pharmacist for Fry’s and then Walgreen’s in Tucson until she retired.
She married Richard Kirk, also of Ashtabula, in 1985. While they later divorced, they continued to share parenting of their sons, Keegan and Dylan.
Throughout her life, Cindy was adventurous and loved to travel. She visited Europe, Australia and New Zealand but also enjoyed shorter trips to visit cousins in Ohio, California and other parts of Arizona. She was a theme park enthusiast and made trips to Cedar Point and Disneyland earlier this year to ride roller coasters. Her adventures will be sources of endless stories and cherished memories.
Cindy is survived by sons, Keegan and Dylan; brother, Michael Adams; and sister, Tracy (Adams) Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Adams and Kay (Nelson) Hall. Cindy will be forever remembered by her family and friends.
Cremation services are being performed by Bring’s Broadway Chapel. No public services are planned at this time. To honor Cindy’s love of animals, the family suggests a donation to your local animal shelter or favorite animal-related charity.
May Cindy’s passion for life inspire all who knew her.
