William "Bill" H. Garrett Jr
August 4th, 1954 - August 30th, 2024
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of William "Bill" H. Garrett Jr., who departed this life on August 30, 2024, in Southbridge, MA. He was born on August 4, 1954, in Indiana, and lived 70 rich and fulfilling years.
Bill was the beloved husband of Marcia L. Christman-Garrett for 20 wonderful years. His parents, William Garrett and Loveda Garrett, who preceded him in death, were always close to his heart. In addition, he cherished spending time with his in-laws—Ethel, Cynthia (Fred), and Lisa (Walter)—as well as neighbor friends and colleagues.
Professionally, Bill previously worked at Travel Center of America and was currently employed as a fleet manager at Sardill's Produce and Dairy. His dedication and diligence were well-regarded among his peers, and his contributions to these enterprises were significant.
Bill found true joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time pontooning on the lake, playing rounds of golf, and taking immense pride in maintaining a meticulous lawn.
A visitation in his honor will be held on Sunday, September 8, from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by a closing ceremony at 2 pm. Friends and loved ones are invited to share in this time of remembrance and reflection.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that expressions of condolences be made through donations to a charity of choice, honoring Bill's legacy of generosity and community spirit.
May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a comfort and blessing to all who knew and loved him.
