Charles "Alan" Collier
May 1st, 1957 - August 29th, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Charles “Alan” Collier announce his passing on August 29th 2024 at the age of 67. Charles was born to Cleo and Quentin Collier on May 1st, 1957 in Norton, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Collier of North Charleston, daughter Michelle (Collier) Barrett “Mike Barrett” of Charleston, grandson Lucas Tschappat of Charleston, brother Quentin Collier of Belleair, Florida and sisters Donna Shannon and Dorothy Diets of North Charleston. He is proceeded in death by his brothers Robert, Billy and Doug Collier. He attended Trident Technical College with a degree in engineering and worked in aircraft assembly at Boeing. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchild, his cats and playing his electric guitars. He brought us immeasurable joy, he was kind, funny and always made us laugh until we cried. He will be forever missed and forever remembered.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society
