Clayton Wesley Peacock IV, 53, of Charlotte, passed away September 4, 2024. Born September 14, 1970, in Nuremberg, Germany, he was the son of the late Clayton Wesley Peacock III and Marie Anne Peacock-Albers.

Clayton is survived by his wife, Daphne Peacock; and four sisters: Anne Marie Peacock, Patty Buckley, Mary Frances Wenman, Paula Peacock and many more loving family and friends.

Clayton liked the finer things of life and especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family and would lavish his goodwill on you any chance he got. A firm believer in our Lord Jesus Christ, the family is grateful for the peace of knowing Clayton is waiting for them in heaven and will be reconciled with him soon.

The family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. A memorial service will follow at 11am in the funeral home chapel.

Our chapel, a cherished historic landmark within the storied Dilworth neighborhood, is renowned for being the only funeral home in Charlotte graced with its own chapel, echoing with decades of history and serenity....
