Carl Thomas Metz, 77, passed away August 22, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Reading, PA on December 20, 1946, to Jesse and Ursula Reynolds Metz. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia.
Carl previously owned and retired from Clew Data and spent most of his career as a Fixed Operations Manager for several GM dealerships.
He loved all dogs, especially his dog Wilson, who was his travel companion. Carl’s passion was racing and he worked part time at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced. His ashes will be spread on September 21, 2024 at 9am at the Lucky Dog Race at Carolina Motorsports Park.
