Scharline I Bullard

Scharline I. Bullard, 89, of Greensboro went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 9, 2024 at Guilford House Assisted Living.  A native of Guilford County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva Mae (Phillips) Ingool and wife of the late William "Bill" Bullard Sr.

Scharline dedicated over 20 years of her professional life to Lorillard Tobacco Company. Beyond her professional life, Scharline had a diverse range of interests that brought joy to her and those around her. She was an avid bowler, a passionate fan of drag racing, and she found peace and solace in gardening and bird watching. She was a cherished member of her family, better known as Mawmaw for her deeply loving nature as both a mother and grandmother. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire those she left behind.

Scharline is survived by her children, Gwen Barley, William Bullard Jr., Shyrline Moore; grandchildren, Christy Bullard, Toby Barley, Tabitha Shilton, Cindy Twigg (Edward), Randy Moore (Jennifer), Tonya Barley, Sherree Jenkins (Mark), Krystle Wagner (Jason), Cherish Troxler, Josh Thornton, Amanda Alexander (Chris), Chance Moore (Brieanna), and Joseph Brewer; and numerous greats and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Randall Bullard and Shawn Bullard; daughter-in-law, Wanda Bullard; son-in-laws, Ned Moore and Steve Barley; brother, Bobby Ingool; and sister, Dot Whitfield.

The family will receive friends at Lake Brandt Baptist Church, Greensboro on Thursday, September 12th from 1:00PM - 2:00PM.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM with Randy Pearman officiating. Interment will be at Reedy Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Browns Summit.
