Yvonne Adele Bennett

Preceded in death by her parents Juanita Scott Bennett and Nestor Sena Bennett 

Survived by her brothers David Bennett (Denver,  CO) and Ron & Terri Bennett (Greeley,CO) Nieces and Nephews; Crystal & John Knight,  Devin Bennett, Amber Bennett and Brandon Bennett. Great nieces Brittany McIntosh, Kelsea Westover, and Alexis Loomis,. Her beloved friend Tom Sloey and numerous other friends and family members.

Yvonne graduated from North High School on June 6th, 1962   and in December of that year graduated from airline school. She worked with the original Frontier Airlines until they ceased operation in 1986. She went on to work at Sprint for another 17 years until finally retiring.  

Yvonne enjoyed theater and travel,  shopping and fine arts. While she didn't have children of her own, she was a mother figure to her eldest niece Crystal and a grandmotherly figure to the younger nieces and  nephews. Together with Tom, she enjoyed taking her family to holiday events at the Botanical Gardens and just about every show that went on at Heritage Square before they closed the theater. 

Yvonne had amazing taste in the finer things of life and was a beautiful, funny and classy lady who was loved by everyone and will be missed by all.

Please join us for a memorial service in her honor on September 28th, 2024 at 10:00am with a light lunch reception after.
