Joshua Jacob Cranz
July 22nd, 1990 - August 24th, 2024
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our son Joshua Jacob Cranz, at just 34 years old, of Colorado Springs, Co. Joshua passed away on August 24,2024. We have lost the youngest of our three sons, our baby boy.
He was born on July 22, 1990 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to parents of Frank David and Becky Ann (Capen) Cranz Jr. He later graduated from high school at Marana High School in Marana, Arizona then attended college at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado.
He then went on to start his career with the United States Postal Service.
He loved his family more than anyone could possibly imagine. He was a kind and giving soul; and would do anything he could for others. He was the most amazing man, he gave so much love to all of us, if you knew him you could not help but love him. He loved hiking, fishing with his Dad, exploring nature, reading, calling his Mom almost everyday during his walking route which somedays was about 4 hours long and most of all spending his time with his family & friends. Right now we are all shattered, broken and hollow inside.
He is preceded in death by his Paternal Great Grandparents Don & Patsy Leach, Mary Lara. His Maternal Great Grandparents Leslie & Barbara Gore, Paul & Betty Capen. And his Maternal Grandmother Barbara Ann Capen.
He is survived by his parents Frank David Cranz Jr of Divide, Colorado & Becky Ann Capen Crone of Moses Lake, Washington. Stepparents Yvonda Cranz of Divide, Colorado & Gary Howard Crone of Moses Lake, Washington. Brothers Frank David Cranz Jr (C.J.) of Castle Rock, Colorado & Kasey Michael Cranz of Tucson, Arizona & Sister-In-Laws Marilyn Windhorn Cranz of Castle Rock, Colorado and Heather Cranz of Tucson, Arizona. Paternal Grandparents Frank & Mary Cranz of Tucson, Arizona. Maternal Grandfather Kenneth (K.C.) Charles Capen of Littleton, Colorado. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews…
We love you our beloved son Joshua J, your physical presence will never be forgotten and always be missed but your spirit will live on forever in everyone of us in whom you touched..
