Proud as the lord to be from the Old First Ward, Kathleen Marie McDonald, 74 passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024 at her home in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents James and Marie Mullins. Her brother William Mullins, and her eldest daughter Kathleen Jacobsen.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 34 years, Michael Francis McDonald. Brothers and sisters, Mary (William) Hackemer, Robert (Carol) Mullins, James (Elizabeth) Mullins and Anne Cummings. Children Kelly (Shawn) Willson, Ingrid (Scott) Bey, Robert Jacobsen, Joseph Jacobsen, Mitchell Oakes, Margaret McDonald, Grand Children, Great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 13, 11am at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, in Punta Gorda, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetary Road. Light refreshments will be provided following the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Kathleen’s honor at the Parrot Outreach Society, Punta Gorda.
