Judith “Judy” Ann Cox, age 82, of Largo, Florida passed away on July 18, 2024, in her home, in the company of her beloved dog, Scooby. Born in Michigan on June 27, 1942, Judy worked in the auto industry as a Supervisor at Chrysler, prior to retiring in Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Clark, her father, William Cox, her sister Sandra Watkins, and her children William Stone and Judith Suzetta Kim King. Judy is survived by her son, Michael King, her sister, Billie Wells, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy was a kind, independent person who cared a great deal about the welfare of animals, especially Scooby. Judy loved strolling antique shops and flea markets and had a deep appreciation and respect for Native American culture and art. Judy loved lunching with her closest friends and attending neighborhood events. Judy was known for her fiery spirit and quick wit. She was also known for her warmth, compassion, and kindness. Judy will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially those at the close-knit Largo Community that she called home. Prior to her passing, Judy requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in her honor be made to any local animal shelter.
