Jean Null Riggs
May 3rd, 1935 - September 11th, 2024
Jean Null Riggs, 89, wife of the late William Riggs Jr., passed away on September 11, 2024 in Lexington. Jean was born in Kennett, Missouri on May 3, 1935 to the late Wesley and Hallie Null. Jean worked the concessions at Rupp Area for many years, but above all was deeply proud of her family and was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Willa Delong; grandchildren, Ryne Collins, Kristin McCulloch, William McKinney, and Hallie Delong; and great grandchildren, Jordan Adams, Calla Rosella McCulloch, and Maya Lemoa McCulloch.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her siblings, Hershel Null, Thomas Null, Betty Householder, and Lefern Null.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 1pm at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville. Visitation will be from 11am till the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Jean Riggs to the Lexington Humane Society in memory of Baby.
