In the hearts of those who loved you, you will always be there.

Marilyn Anne Parker of Rochester WA was called home on September 1, 2024

She was born in Vallejo, CA in 1943 to O. Richard Matheny and Anna N. Matheny. Marilyn grew up in Ephrata, WA and spent most of her years in Shelton, WA. She worked as a bookkeeper for Capital Development in Olympia until she retired.

Marilyn had great style and was always seen with purple hair. When she wasn't at a social gathering with her family or church, she would be sharing her love through art, crafts and painting. The biggest joy of her life was her kids and grandkids. Any chance she got to be with them would make her light up the room.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim. She is survived by her children (Diane Willis Karen Pace Brian Wyatt and Victoria Parker) her brothers (Don Matheny and Ken Matheny) and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be held at Borst Park-kitchen 1 in Centralia WA, October 19th, starting at 12pm and ending around 5pm. Feel free to come pot luck with us and share memories of this beautiful woman.
