Charles Kirby Wheeler Sr. Age-79 of Englewood, Florida passed away at his home on August 16, 2024. Charles was born in Bradenton, Florida on June 24, 1945. He was a graduate of Cortez-Sarasota High School and was a lifelong resident of Florida. Charles was a crane and heavy equipment operator with Maxim and was a member of IUOE Local 487B and was initiated on August 6, 1969. Charles enjoyed fishing, golfing, shooting, building model airplanes and enjoying life.
He is survived by his partner Marie J. Minnican, a son Charles K. Wheeler Jr. and his wife Jennine, granddaughter Gianna Wheeler and one brother Robert Lynn Wheeler and his dog Mr. Parker.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Grover Lynn Wheeler and Orrie Rebecca Green Wheeler a stepbrother Adrian and stepsister JoAnn.
Interment private.
