Charles Jude Wilkie, lovingly known as Chuck, passed away on Thursday, August 29th 2024, at the age of 61 in sunny Tucson, AZ. Born on June 3rd 1963, in St. Charles, Illinois, Chuck spent his early years in the Detroit area, where he developed his lifelong passion for sports, adventure and music.
Chuck was the beloved son of Charles and Lorraine Wilkie. He graduated from Lakeland High School in White Lake, Michigan and went on to earn his degree from Central Michigan University. He dedicated many years to his work at Arizona Oncology, where he was admired by colleagues and patients alike for his commitment and compassion.
Chuck is survived by his devoted wife, Rhonda Wilkie; his children, Bradley Myer, Ryanne Randolph, and Michael Myer ; his cherished grandchildren: Killian, Mia, Olivia, Andrew, Hailey, Kennedy, and Jolene; and also ironically survived by Keith Richards. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family and friends.
A lifelong fan of Detroit sports teams, Chuck also held a special place in his heart for the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame football. His love for Jimmy Buffett’s music, as a self-proclaimed "Parrot Head” reflected his adventurous spirit and zest for life. Chuck was always seeking new experiences and was known for his infectious enthusiasm for the next adventure.
Chuck's love for life and his generous spirit touched all who knew him. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and honor the memories he created.
