Mrs. Carol Ann Rorick, age 76, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Mountain Valley Hospice House, Gloversville, with her family at her side.
She was born February 14, 1948, in Gloversville, the daughter of Dale and Marion (Moyer) Downer. A lifelong Gloversville resident, she was employed by the Gloversville Enlarged School District for many years. She loved wintering in Florida for 15 years and going on cruises.
Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert A. Rorick Sr; two sons, Robert A. Rorick II of Gloversville and Joseph M. Rorick of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a brother, Dale H. Downer Jr. (Gail); and a niece, Michelle Downer.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday, September 17th at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with the Rev. Cynthia VanAllen officiating.
Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
