Patricia "Pat" Bauman
August 30th, 1937 - September 13th, 2024
Patricia Blair Bauman “Pat”
Age 87, of Clearwater, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, September 13, 2024, peacefully in her sleep.
She was born August 30, 1937 in Youngstown, OH and was the daughter of the late Delma and James Blair.
Pat graduated from Girard High School in 1955 and studied education at Youngstown State University and Kent State University where she got both her undergraduate and eventually her Master’s in teaching. She taught for over 30 years in the Wellsville and Lisbon, Ohio school districts, mostly elementary school aged children whom she loved.
Pat leaves behind two children, Shawn (Dean) Parsons of Clearwater, FL and Robert "Bo" Bauman of Indian Shores, FL. She leaves six loved grandchildren, Shawn's children, Devon and Kelby and Bo's children, Gabriel, Abigail, Elijah and Lily .
After retirement, Pat moved to Sun City, Florida, in 1999 where she enjoyed time with her partner, Harry Swearingen, and her grandchildren as well as all the various activities in Sun City Center and riding her golf cart all over the community.
Patricia will be dearly missed. She loved life and her family and friends. Her service will be private.
