Jim Bradshaw passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024. He is survived by his two children, Cindy Billinger and Jim Bradshaw Jr.; his beloved grandchildren Heather McChesney and Cassie Smith; and his great-grandchildren Madie McChesney and Mason McChesney.

Jim was born in 1938 and moved to Colorado as a young child with his family from Oklahoma. He married C. Lynn Perdue from Lyons in 1958 and they were married for 50 years before her passing in 2009. He took great pride in his career at Rocky Flats and had a lifelong passion for geology, fishing, collecting rocks, stamps, and the occasional trip to Blackhawk. Jim was known for his infectious laughter, his ability to make friends wherever he went, and his genuine desire to help others. He especially enjoyed welcoming newcomers and encouraging those going through difficult life transitions, often making people feel at home at The Bridge, where he lived in his later years.

Jim never turned down a good dessert, particularly when it came to sharing ice cream with his oldest granddaughter. Family was incredibly important to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always taking great pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, love for life, and the way he touched so many with his generosity and warmth. Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please join us for a graveside service 10am Monday September 23rd at the Lyons Cemetery.
