Reinhard Steck entered into rest on September 3, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Buffalo, New York and after high school joined the Army where he served in the Korean War. When he came home from the service, he attended Cabrillo College and later San Jose State University where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Cybernetic Systems.

After schooling, Reinhard became a programmer at NASA in Moffit Field for 15 years and then entered the real estate industry as a developer for 14 years. He served as a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion; and was a lifetime member of the Cabrillo Lions Club. Reinhard is survived by his beloved wife, son and daughter. The family would like to express their gratitude to the caring staff at Hospice of Santa Cruz County.
