Tzadik Shmuel Zachary Solomon Greenberg
June 14th, 1978 - March 27th, 2024
Sometimes we must let go of our dreams because something else is calling that demands our attention, and our integrity is more important than any dream. Sometimes we must cash in all our chips, so the next harvest may begin.
Tzadik was a complicated man, a brilliant man, a peacemaker, a warrior, courageous and vulnerable about his battle with inner demons. His openness embodied a commitment to personal and collective healing. He left on his own terms, a noble man. He truly was a peacemaker and tried diligently to make the world a better place. He was passionate and very thorough with his work; the concepts and dedication to create a world of love. His beautiful mind was creating a world with ultimate peace and the real world wasn’t ready for his grandiose vision. He was a community leader who brought hundreds if not thousands of people together - building bridges to bring people together; through live speakers, music, yoga & ecstatic dance, meditations, conscious relating, and other types of healing ceremonies. He meant good and wanted to heal the world. He welcomed all types of energies and practiced many spiritual rituals to help guide the world towards peace. His Neshama (soul in Hebrew) was strong and challenged him to serve others by healing through peace and love.
Tzadik was a man with integrity, brave and vulnerable, with a magical ability to unite people towards positive change. He were a visionary, a multi-dimensional thinker with a holistic quest, a man advocating “Ultimate peace” and through Love. He didn’t just stand for peace, and be a voice for peace, Tzadik gathered other people for peace, and truly cared about the world and everyone he ever encountered. God calls us in a variety of ways. Sometimes it’s a result of struggle, but sometimes our call is a rejection of the comfort and convenience we have so come to enjoy. As we approach Passover in the coming weeks – I see similar resemblances of Tzaddik to Moses. Just like Moses, Tzadik was deeply flawed; yet he was extremely resilient. He was conflicted about his identity, but driven to lead others. Tzadik launched some pretty amazing programs over the past 25 years and many will continue your path and can honor your memory by carrying forth with your commitment towards peace. He created programs and include Earth Walk, Me3 Movement, Eternal Ways & Infinite Minds, Planet Coexist and others. Tzadik had a purpose in life. Tzadik had a beautiful soul – a spiritual soul. This isn’t a goodbye, just a NOBLE transition from what was – he will come in MANY WAYS; As he said…. Dragons, Hawks, Eagles and Trees – he asked that we hug them and explained that the Hebrew letter Tzaddik is the letter associated with a tree, which he frequently climbed as a kid and as an adult. Also, the planet Jupiter is called Tzadik – so when you look up at the sky and see Jupiter, say hello. Tzadik was a math genius and referenced everything in numbers, astrology, and greater spirits. There never was a coincidence. He saw numbers in a light that carries the combined energies with potent meaning. He had a knack for attention to details and identify numbers repeatedly in our lives, and provided guidance in regard to how these numbers reference spiritual meanings and how guardian angels speak to us. It was a true gift. Tzadik was the playful one who loved the outdoors and always wanted to be a kid. He climbed trees, swam in rivers, got dirty, and had fun. He wasn’t always this spiritual man in funny clothes and lived in nature. He was the nerdy kid taking College classes at Arizona State University when he was a preteen. In High School Zach would sit in front of the mirror for hours to make sure his hair was perfect and sold ties; truly gifted individual and was destined for something great. He was very engaged with USY, Camp Ramah, and loved his faith. There was a phase where he became religious; learned Torah, went to the Jewish Theological Seminary at Columbia, Rabbinical school in Israel; and very educated in Judaism theology. However, his principles were greater than Judaism - it was peace for mankind. Ultimately it was his search for peace that he chose to follow on an eternal path. May his soul be at peace now.
