Kenneth Allan Elliott was welcomed into God’s kingdom Monday, September 23, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.

 

Allan was born at home in Stanford, Ky on August 31,1938 to Herman and Eudelle Combs Elliott.

 

He graduated from Stanford High School in 1956. His class had 34 graduates and was the largest class ever at that time. He was voted “Class Wit’ and participated in football and baseball. He received his Eagle Scout in February 1956.

 

Allan was a 1962 graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, AL. His major was Forestry Engineering. He was extremely proud of being an Auburn Golden Eagle - award for 50+ year graduates. He later went on to complete his Masters at East Texas State University.

 

He worked various jobs in the forestry industry in KY and West Virginia before moving to Texas to work for Snyder Lumber Company. He later started his own forestry consulting firm. After returning to Kentucky he worked and retired from the State of Kentucky.

 

Allan married Donna Gaines Elliott in Paris, KY on May 11, 2012.

 

He is proceed in death by his parents and son, Kenneth Allan Elliott, Jr.

 

He is survived by his wife, Donna; his daughter, Leslie Elliott Scrivener (David); granddaughter, SaraAnne Smith; great granddaughters, Addie and Ellie; step children Leigh, Cathy, Susan, Meg and Benjamin; step grandchildren, Olivia, Alexandria, Lauren, Madison, Wyatt, Judson, Winfield; and step great grandson Ryker. He is also survived by his brother, Ron (Carol) Elliott and sister Sandy King. He has many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as the mother of his children, Peggy Frost Elliott.
