Kristie Jewel Belcher Hyde

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kristie Jewel Belcher Hyde, who left this world on September 20, 2024, in Warner Robins, Georgia. A celebration of Kristie's life will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation an hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Magnolia Animal Hospital, located at 1244 Peach Pkwy, Fort Valley, GA 31030, in Kristie’s honor.

Born in Perry, Georgia, on January 22, 1972, Kristie was a beacon of kindness and boundless energy to all who knew her. Kristie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Belcher, Sr. She is survived by her loving family: her mother, Jessie Peterson Belcher; her devoted husband of 10 years, Jeffrey Hyde; her cherished children, Raymond (Jake) Ashcroft, Cassandra (Trent) Williams, Jessica Ashcroft, Joseph Ashcroft, and Alexis Cannon; and her treasured grandchildren, Jackson, Belle, Athison, Hayden, Carter, and Miles. Kristie was also a beloved stepmother to Cynthia, Nicholas, and Emily. Her brothers, Thomas Belcher, Sr. and Bryan Belcher, her niece, Crystal Belcher, along with a host of extended friends and family, will deeply miss her presence.

Kristie was known for her compassionate heart and her zest for life. She had a unique ability to light up a room just by entering it. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her energy was magnetic and drew people towards her, creating lasting friendships and bonds. A devoted family woman, Kristie took immense joy in spending time with her spouse, children, and grandchildren. She had a profound love for cats and enjoyed giving back to the community. Kristie found solace and happiness in activities such as fishing, gardening, and arts and crafts. She also actively participated in Celebrate Recovery at Southside Baptist Church.

Kristie Jewel Belcher Hyde will be remembered for her generous spirit, her dedication to her family, and her unwavering commitment to helping others. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
