Terry Wade Neal, 66, Gilbert AZ, died suddenly on Monday, Sept 23, 2024. Terry was born in Bristol, TN to King William Neal and Dolly Zonie (Rosenbaum) Neal. He is survived by his long-time partner, Debra Wilson, sons, Terry (Christine) Neal, Joshua (Cassandra) Neal, Jeffrey Wilson, Brian Wilson and stepson Kenneth (Christy) Farmer, and brother, Freddie Neal. Terry had many nieces and nephews, but was very close to his nieces Vickie Smith and Becky Ecker. He was predeceased by brothers Larry and Jackie Neal, and sisters Letty (Wayne) Smith, Margie (Charles) Hudson and Brenda (Donald) Mullens.Terry spent his youth in TN and moved to IL in his teens. After high school, he proudly served in the Army and spent time in Germany, coming home with many stories to tell. He married and had his first two sons. After his divorce, he met Deb Wilson, his partner of 26 years. He won Deb's heart with many stories and sealed the deal by buying her a beautiful horse! They moved to AZ and he "adopted" her son Jeffrey, and together they had son Brian. Terry has been an amazing grandfather to Leela, Easton and Ada Neal, Abigail Marriott, JT Dupont, Sadie, Nathan, Kenny and Maggie Farmer, Nathan, Cheshire, Karma and Dominic Wilson, Kylie Patterson, Wendy and Des'ree Black, “ adopted” grand kids Daniel Standage and Cecil Crowe. He went to work for Pavement Marking, Inc., for 23 years and developed a whole 2nd family there. The stories he told and his lifetime of shenanigans will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
Falconer Funeral Home at 251 W. Juniper Ave. Gilbert, AZ is handling services to be held October 3rd with viewing at 2 pm and flag presentation at 3 pm. In keeping with his wishes, Terry will be cremated and his ashes spread around his childhood home in TN.
