Norwood Henry Rainey, 77, of Tucson, AZ died on September 14th, 2024 after a brief battle with colon cancer. He was the beloved father to Tiera and Najima Rainey and a devoted grandfather to Ashram Rainey. He is also survived by his sister Strawberri Lucas of East Orange, NJ as well as his cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his brother George Jr., his father George Sr., and his mother Ella (née Shields). He lived to serve his clients at N.H. Rainey Financial Services, a family business, he proudly owned and operated for over thirty years. A multi-instrumentalist, he was an avid Jazz percussionist and a former Doo-wop singer. His love of music and his kind heart will be missed and remembered. His services will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday October 16th at Adair Funeral Homes, Dodge Chapel. All who loved him are welcome.
