Connie Elizabeth (Pund) Thompson, 67, of Goose Creek , South Carolina, passed away September 23, 2024, surrounded by her Family. She was born in Orlando, FL to William (Bill) and Gwendolyn (Gwen) Pund.
Connie worked in various roles within Mount Holly elementary school (previously Sedgefield Intermediate) where she always greeted everyone with a smile. She was loved by many and developed many of her lifelong friendships while there.
Her marriage to EJ was an example of how to lead a loving life. Connie and EJ always displayed a strong bond full of affection. They truly demonstrated how to continuously work day to day to weave love into both their and their kids’ lives.
Connie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them as much as possible. You could find her traveling to see kids and grandchildren often. She loved to engage in various activities with her grandchildren, entertaining them with crafts, conversation, and dancing with them. In addition, she loved to fish. You could find her with EJ dropping a line from the beach or various ponds no matter what time of year it was. She was also a lover of cats, watching Hallmark, reading, decorating for holidays, and attending the Coastal Carolina Fair where she could find one of her favorite treats, Elephant Ears.
