James Keith Jennings
June 6th, 1937 - October 22nd, 2019
James Keith Jennings was born in Trinidad, Colorado, to Mary Maud Losey and James Keith Jennings Sr. When Jim was a toddler, the family moved to Lawton, Oklahoma, where he grew up along with siblings Charles, Barbara, William Thomas, and Richard. He was very active in Boy Scouts and his father, Jim Sr. was a Scout leader for many years. Jim enjoyed a trip to the Philmont Scout Ranch at Cimmaron, New Mexico. He also played baseball and was an avid baseball fan as well as a fan of OU football. He graduated from Lawton High School and attended Cameron College. He moved to Colorado in 1959 and worked at the Martin Co. and later at Samsonite Corp. for many years. In 1960 he married Patricia (Patti) Haney. He is survived by wife Patti, daughter Laurie, son Jon (Larry), granddaughter Megan (Doug) Hendershot, great grand-children Willow and Ronin Hendershot. Also brothers Charles (Beverly) of Poway, California, and Bill (Sharon) of Plano, Texas, and sister Barbara Topp of Kentwood, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother, Richard.
