Robert Gene Holland

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Gene Holland, who left us on September 25, 2024, in Greeley, CO, at the age of 74. 

Born on April 16, 1950, in Santa Barbara, CA, Robert's journey in education began at Rancho High School in Las Vegas, NV. 

He furthered his academic pursuits by earning a degree in accounting from AIMS Community College and an associate's degree in business science from Hesser College. 

Throughout his life, Robert found joy and camaraderie in multiple avenues. A chess aficionado, he was a vibrant member of the chess club in Greeley, CO, where he engaged in countless stimulating matches and formed lasting friendships. His strategic mind and love for the game were known to all who had the pleasure of facing him across the chessboard. Robert was a fixture at the VASA Fitness Center and the local senior center. These routines played a crucial role in maintaining his strength and vitality for many years. His commitment to fitness and the community allowed him to forge meaningful connections, forming a network of friends from both his fitness routines and Broadview Apartments. 

Robert's dedication to his passions and his community left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew him.
