Vincent L. Di Leonardo passed away on September 27, 2024, surrounded by his family. Vincent dedicated his life to his family, to honor, to his faith, and to serve his country. He proudly served in the United States Army and after 37 years retired as a Lt. Colonel from the Army Reserve.

His faith lead him to be a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus in Delaware and Florida. Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Vincent met his wife, Dale at the University of Delaware.  Vincent, Dale, and their three children lived in Hockessin, Delaware. In 2010, he retired from his position of Internal Auditor at the University of Delaware’s after over 30 years of service.

Dale and Vincent retired to Florida in 2012 where they became members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Vincent was a member of the Valencia Lakes Military Veterans Club and enjoyed retirement playing cards, bocci, and pickleball. He was passionate about military history, and sports, particularly baseball.

He always encouraged everyone to do their best in life even in difficult times. Vincent was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, PopPop, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, nephews, niece, family, and friends who will always remember his loving and caring nature.
