Scott Eugene Spriggs

Scott Eugene Spriggs, 47, of Norton went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2024. He was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on March 26, 1977 to Norman “Gene” and Anna Spriggs. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed drag racing in his Thunderbird. Scott was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman “Gene” Spriggs; paternal grandparents, Donald and Nellie Spriggs; maternal grandfather, John Mart Thornsberry.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Spriggs; daughter, Sierra Noble and husband Dakota; sons, Tyler Spriggs and wife Kendra, Adrien Spriggs, Dominick Spriggs, and Jeremiah Spriggs; grandchildren, Kennedi and Beau; mother, Anna Spriggs; grandmother, Doris Thornsberry; sister, Jodi Spriggs Paragon and husband Roy; nieces, Maranda McGraw and husband Bret, Maleeah Peters, and Mahalah Peters; nephews, Blakelee Cavins and wife Cassidy and Andrew Cavins; great-nieces, Melanie and Mylah; great-nephews, Jaxson and Lakeland; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date.
