Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel - Payette
Patricia Ann Lambert
September 26th, 1952 - October 5th, 2024
Ladies and gentlemen, we gather to celebrate the remarkable life of Patricia, a
beloved member of our community, a cherished friend, a devoted mother, and an
extraordinary grandmother. Patricia's journey began in the small town of New Plymouth,
Idaho, where she grew up behind the DJ's store in a home filled with warmth and love.
She graduated from New Plymouth High School in 1971, carrying with her the dreams
and aspirations that would shape her future. With a brave heart, she ventured to the big
city of Boise, where she purchased her first home—a significant milestone that filled her
with pride. It was in Boise that she met her late husband, Jim, who would share in her
adventures and dreams. Together, they later returned to New Plymouth, where Patricia
dedicated herself to the community as a substitute teacher in the New Plymouth School
District, while Jim drove a truck to provide for their family. Patricia's greatest joy came
with the birth of her son, Kyle Lambert, who became the center of her universe. She
poured her heart into raising him, nurturing his dreams and aspirations. Though she
faced the unimaginable loss of her husband, she found joy in her friends and family. She
found joy again this year with the arrival of her granddaughter, Leah. Upon learning she
would become a grandmother, Patricia's heart swelled with joy, and the pride she felt
was truly radiant. Patricia was one of a kind-a fun-loving, caring spirit who left an
indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her vivacious personality drew people to
her, and her generosity knew no bounds. She was resourceful and spontaneous, always
ready for the next adventure, and you could never quite predict what delightful surprises
she had in store.
Though she left this earthly realm on October 5th, 2024, and grew her wings to be with her Lord and Savior, she will never be forgotten. Her spirit will forever linger with us, in the laughter she shared, the kindness she spread, and the countless hearts she touched.
Patricia leaves behind cherished friends, a loving family, and a legacy of love that will
continue to inspire us all. Let us honor her memory by embodying the same love and
kindness she shared so freely. Thank you, Patricia, for everything you gave to this world.
You will be dearly missed but always remembered.
Services will be held October 20, 2024 at the VFW Hall in New Plymouth, ID. It will be a pot luck service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with financial costs. If you aren't local to a Zions, you can donate through Cash App: $crooktiff64. Thank you.
