Sharon Ruth Lamm
May 19th, 1940 - September 26th, 2024
Sharon Ruth Lamm was born May 19, 1940 in San Diego, California to Dwight J. Lamm and Jesse Trelease Lamm. She passed peacefully September 26th of heart failure. Sharon joined her parents and brother David B. Lamm in a move to Idaho, bringing them closer to Lamm family uncles, aunts and cousins. She especially enjoyed visits to family farms and animals for a change from town life. She enjoyed the frequent family dinners and reunions, large and small.
Sharon graduated from Boise High School in 1958, and then attended the College of Idaho prior to beginning her thirty-six year career from Bank of Idaho to U.S. Bank. She enjoyed her bank co-workers and regularly met for lunch with her retired friends. Sharon was a bowling team member with many friends. She raised and loved a succession of small dogs that were regularly featured with her on annual Christmas cards.
After moving to Boise as a teen, Sharon joined the Boise First Presbyterian Church where she held many church positions throughout her sixty plus years of membership. She was also an active member of Presbyterian Women. Sharon volunteered at Boise St. Luke’s during their annual Christmas card sales.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Jesse, father Dwight, stepmother Geraldine, her brother David and niece Le Anne M Criscola. Sharon is survived by sister-in-law Shari N Lamm, niece Lori Smith and their families. She will be missed by multiple generations of Lamm, Trelease and Smith cousins and many friends from her eighty-four years.
Memorial Service will be at 11 AM Thursday, October 10 at Boise First Presbyterian Church 950 W State St, Boise, Idaho 83702. Memorials may be made to the Boise First Presbyterian Church in Sharon’s name.
