Florence M. Ficili

Florence M. "Flo" Ficili, age 92, of Gloversville, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, with her family at her side.

She was born June 13, 1932, in Allentown, PA; the daughter of Wilbur and Argentina (Pizzolotto) Held. She was later employed as a cook by the Fulton County Infirmary for many years. She was an extraordinary painter and cook and enjoyed playing the organ and gardening. 

Flo is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ficili (Laurie); three grandsons, Richard Ficili (Amanda), Joshua Ficili and Andrew Ficili (Jennifer); a great-granddaughter, Bella Ficili; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore S. Ficili; both of her twin sons, Richard and Anthony Ficili; her brothers, Winfield, Wilbur, Walter and Robert Held. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 am to 11 am Thursday, October 10th at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am. 

Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown.
