Alfred Dowling Crosby, 81, of Charlotte, passed away October 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 18, 1943, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Alfred and Margaret Crosby, Jr.

He was a resolute truck driver for Walmart Stores and Levi Strauss. His joy in life was always his family.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Eugenia K. Crosby. His son, Robert (Rob) D Crosby, wife Amy and their children Nick and Natalie. Daughter Judi Crosby and her daughters Preslee and Kerstin. Daughter Julie Clewis all of Fort Mill, SC. His brother Wayne and wife Claudia of Ashville, NC.

The family will have a ‘Celebration of Life’ at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.HankinsandWhittington.com.
