Arlene Burinski Spearman
June 3rd, 1932 - October 9th, 2024
Arlene Burinski Spearman peacefully passed away on October 2, 2024 at Willow Brook at Matthews Glen surrounded by her family. Arlene was born in Nanticoke, PA on June 3, 1932 to Peter and Mary Burinski. Her career with Capital Airlines took her to New Orleans where she met her husband, Whit, of almost of 60 years. She was happiest whenever her family was present. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving where she always prepared a sumptuous meal for the family. She had many hobbies over the years including painting, cross stitching, knitting and sewing. Her most recent leisure activity was playing cards with her dear friends.Arlene was a long time parishioner at St. Vincent Catholic Church and most recently a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, grandson Will Blottman, and sister Rita Pizont. She is survived by her son, David, and her daughters, Laura Hull (Ed) and Catherine Blottman (Tom). Arlene leaves three grandchildren, Eddie Hull (Cassidy), Whit Hull and Jane Blottman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 11:00a.m. In the chapel at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Road in Charlotte. Family will receive friends before the Mass, starting at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hurricane Relief Efforts through St. Gabriel Catholic Church: weblink - https://stgabrielchurch.onlinegiving.org/donate/customform/1566#!/
