Kanaan James Blea, 20, of Greeley, passed away October 3, 2024 at MCR in Loveland.  He was born in Greeley on April 13, 2004 to Nicholas Blea III and Shantel Marie Hernandez Blea where he grew up. 

 

Kanaan worked for Baker Concrete in Denver and was training to be a nozzleman.  He loved to pan for gold, go fishing, riding his bike and being with his kids. 

 

Survivors include his two children; Tobias and Angela Blea, his parents, Nicholas Blea III and Shantel Blea, his siblings; Nicholas Blea IV, Alize Blea and Shayne Blea, his grandparents; Anita Blea (Anthony Garcia), Cynthia (James) Serna and Ed Hernandez, his great-grandmother, Joann Salazar, two nephews, Nicholas Blea V and Abel Blea as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Nicholas Blea, Jr., James and Rebecca Hernandez, Carl Salazar and an uncle, Brandon Blea. 

 

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Adamson.  Life Celebration 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Victory Outreach Church of Greeley.  Inurnment Linn Grove Cemetery.
