Douglas "Grizz" Woodbury
January 26th, 1951 - September 10th, 2024
Doug had lived in Olympia, Washington for 59 years. He had previously lived in Norfolk, Nebraska and Sterling, Colorado.
Doug graduated from North Thurston high School in 1969 then went into the Air Force until 1974. Doug worked for the State of Washington at the Department of Enterprize Services (DES) in the Carpenter shop and Haze Mate removal until he retired in 2013.
Doug is survived by his wife, Bonnie Woodbury. They married in Olympia, Washington in 1978.
Doug is also survived by his nephews, Brandon (Angie) Sparks and Jesse (Sarah) Sparks, along with his great nieces, Adelaine (Addie) and Aurora (Roy) Sparks.
Doug is preceded in death by his father Harold Woodbury, Mother Dorothy Woodbury, and his sister Susan Sparks.
Doug's hobbies and interest were Mountain Man Rondevous shooting black powder rifles at targets, hunting, fishing, watching TV shows on Big Foot, and riding his Harley 3 wheel.
Doug was a member of Brothers of Third Wheel (BTW) in Tacoma, Abate and president of the Doe Masters.
