August 16th, 1930 - October 10th, 2024
Robert Leon Dienhart, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, took his flight to glory on Thursday, October 10, 2024, age 94.
Robert was born on August 16, 1930 in Flint Michigan, to Oliver and Bernice Dienhart. He married Joann Louise Olcott on April 22, 1950 in Flint Michigan. They were blessed with 73 years of marriage and two sons. Survivors include their sons David (Diane) and Timothy (Miriam), 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many beloved nephews and nieces. Three brothers, Max, Wayne and Reid proceeded him in death. His sister Donna (John) and sister in-law Carol (Reid) remain. Bob was very successful in the insurance business, as an agent and a district manager. Selling and teaching were two of his gifted characteristics. He had a great love for the outdoors which included fishing, hunting and camping. He was a pilot and enjoyed playing his trumpet. He loved and served his family well but serving the Lord Jesus Christ through His Word was first in his life. His favorite scripture is Psalm 37.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at Flahiff Funeral Chapels, Caldwell, Idaho. Interment will follow at Marsing Homedale Cemetery.
