Mr. Mario Eugenio Gomez, age 62, a resident of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024. Mr. Gomez was born September 5, 1962, in Havana, Cuba to Jose and Zoila Branly (Marquetti) Gomez. Mario was a Winter Haven resident since 2011 coming from Orlando and of the Catholic faith. He was a Broker in the Real Estate Industry. Mario enjoyed wake boarding, sky diving, dancing, raising chickens, animals and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brothers – Manolo & Jose; brother – Wilingo and his aunt – Yolanda. Mario is survived by his loving & devoted family, husband of 29 years – Ray Roman Valentin; 2 brothers – Miguel Gomez & Luis Gomez and wife ; 3 sisters – Nancy Alvarez and wife Eva, Fina Gomez & Iiliana Gomez and husband Luis; many nieces, nephews & cousins. A visitation/celebration of Mario will be held Thursday, October 17th from 5-8pm at Kersey Funeral Home with a celebration of life service @ 6pm. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Friday, October 18th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 532 Avenue M NW, Winter Haven, Florida.
