Lynne Meredith Palumbo passed away on Tuesday, October 8th, after a hard fought battle with cancer. She touched many lives with her joyous spirit and she was well loved by all who met her. 

Lynne was born February 23rd, 1964 in Oceanside, NY and graduated from Susquehanna University in 1986. She was married in 1987 and moved to California in 1989. She began her career as a kindergarten teacher until becoming a full-time mother. After many joyous years of motherhood, Lynne resumed her teaching career as a paraeducator, obtained a masters degree in special education, and worked her way to being the head teacher of the special education program at Del Amigo High School. She along with the help of the many great people at the special education program helped the lives of countless students with their compassion, patience, and kindness. 

Lynne was preceded in death by her sister Karen. She is survived by her loving husband, Tim; children Daniel, Thomas, Lea, and Jayson. She is also survived by her mother and father Bill and Janice, brother Bob, sister-in-law Shirley, and her daughter-in-law Tsugumi. Finally, she is survived by her mother-in-law Kathleen, sisters-in-law Tina and Terry, and brothers-in-law Mark, Scott, and Bob.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life on Wednesday, October 16th at 3:30  p.m. at San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church. 902 Danville Blvd, Alamo, CA 94507.
